Complaints Procedure

i. Fincheck Academy and Fincheck is not a lender, telecommunications company, or bank. We provide services through our business partners who are registered financial or contract providers in South Africa.

ii. We aim to provide all our customers with a high level of service and satisfaction but if you wish to complain about any aspect of our services with you please contact us on 087 057 1412, alternatively 010 594 0295.

iii. For the purposes of handling complaints our working day is 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays.

iv. We are not accountable or to blame for any indirect losses or damages suffered or incurred by you or those which were not predictable when you accessed or used this website. This includes any loss of savings you expect to make, loss of business or business opportunity, loss of profit or revenue or for any loss or damage you may suffer or incur in connection with your use of this Website which was not foreseeable by us when you used this Website.

Finch Technologies is a Financial Technology business-building solutions for the full supply chain of the Financial Technology ecosystem.

Customer privacy policy

Finch Technologies shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).

Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, ETF Secure.

Why is Peach Payments mentioned at checkout

Peach Payments performs technical services to support payments to online or internet businesses. This service includes consulting on a selection of technical and administrative topics, configuring and provisioning a transaction platform, and providing access to this platform.

Cardholder safety

No sensitive cardholder data is stored on merchants’ servers at any time for either once-off or subscription payments.

When a user opts to store card details on a website using Peach Payments, these details are stored by Peach Payments in a PCI DSS level 1 compliant vault. Sensitive cardholder details are directly transmitted from users’ browsers to Peach Payment’s systems. Merchants’ staff and systems do not have access to complete card number details at any point in time, on Peach Payments platforms.

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility

Finch Technologies takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including the sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution, and delivery of goods.

Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Finch Technologies chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

Variation

Finch Technologies may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
